In partnership with our funders, the GTHC offers this valuable medical reference guide to help the user make decisions about their health care; when and how it is appropriate to care for oneself or family members, call the doctor, or go to the emergency department. It has been proven that use of this guide improves the quality of care received and positively impacts the cost of care. Since 2007, more than 13,000 guides have been distributed to the uninsured and underinsured in Gaston County.
